How do I make a reservation? |
| |
Reservation can be made and ticket
purchased at THAI ticket offices, authorized travel agents,
and via Royal
e-Booking service. |
| |
|
 |
Am I permitted to stopover en route?
|
| |
You may stopover at any scheduled stop
permitted by THAI's regulations and those of the country
in which you are breaking your journey. |
| |
|
 |
Are there non-smoking flights?
|
| |
THAI has reached another major milestone
by becoming one of the few world airlines to implement a
fully non-smoking policy.
Due to popular demand by an overwhelming proportion of its
passengers, THAI became a total non-smoking airline in March
1999. This smoking ban, which will apply to all THAI flights,
on all routes, international and domestic, reflects growing
public concerns about the health risks of "passive smoking"
in relatively confined spaces. |
| |
|
 |
What if I lose my ticket? |
| |
If you lose an entire or a partially-used
ticket, please contact the nearest THAI office immediately.
Refund or replacement of the ticket is at THAI's discretion
and requires your presenting proof of loss. In some cases,
you may be asked to buy a new ticket and file a claim for
a refund later. |
| |
|
 |
Do I need to reconfirm my flight?
|
| |
THAI no longer requires that you reconfirm
your flight but please contact THAI to cancel your reservation
if your travel plans change. Many airlines still require
reconfirmation. If your journey includes a portion on another
airline you may have to reconfirm onward journeys at least
72 hours before departure. |
| |
|
 |
What if I have to cancel my flight?
|
| |
Please cancel your reservation as soon
as you intend to change your travel plans. Flight changes
or cancellation should be made at least 3 hours prior to
flight departure. On domestic services, no-show penalty
will be levied if you fail to cancel your booked reservation. |
| |
|
 |
If I cancel, can I get a refund?
|
| |
Refunds may be granted if a refund
application is filed with THAI not more than 30 days after
the ticket's expiration date. A service charge is assessed
to cover refund processing. The fee varies depending on
the country; please contact THAI office in your country
for details. |

our rules. The parent must go to THAI office in person to
complete a form providing details of the parent or guardian
